Conversion Services

We can perform any Cobol-to-Cobol conversion. The price for this service is $0.05-$0.20 per line of code and it depends on complecity of the conversion.

Like any service, it is more expensive than buying a tool and doing conversion yourself. But you will have these benefits:
(1) We would adjust conversion spec and rerun conversion ourselves, if conversion problems are found.
(2) You will get code that compiles and runs. So you will not have to figure out how to tune conversion options and how to use converter tool.

This is how Conversion Service works:

• You try the Specific Converter tool on small samples of your Cobol code (less than 256 lines long). If you like what you saw,
• You send us a representative sample of your code, between 1,000 and 10,000 lines.
• We convert this code for free (as long as we can be reasonably sure that this sample is not the entire application) and we send it back to you. If the conversion satisfies you,
• You send us your complete code to convert. At this point you make a commitment to pay for the converted code.
• We convert your code, send it back to you and invoice you based on the number of lines converted. Volume discounts apply.
• If you later find problems with our conversion caused by bugs in the converter, we fix the bugs and rerun the conversion for free.

1. Pay by Credit Card using Fax or Postal Mail

• Download Combined Purchase Order and Credit Card Authorization, it is a Word document,
• Fill all fields in the form,
• Sign and date the form,

• The software and license keys will be e-mailed to you within 1 business day of receiving funds.

Non-US Credit Cards. All prices are in USD. If you have a credit card that is in Euro, British Pound, Swiss Franc, Japanese Yen or any other currency, you still can use it to pay in USD. The charge will appear on your credit card statement in your local currency. It will be converted from the USD price at the current exchange rate. We also accept EuroCard, it is the same as MasterCard.

2. Pay by Check or Wire Transfer

• We accept checks and wire transfers in USD,
• Download Purchase Order, it is a Word document,
• Fill all fields in the form,
• Sign and date the form,
